Asking the Right Questions is an introduction to Greek philosophy in the form of a newspaper article. Students will meet Ms. Addo’s class, who are about to perform the play “The Death of Socrates” for World Philosophy Day. Students will then follow along with Ms. Addo’s class as they hold a philosophical debate.
The passage has ten standards-aligned questions that will ask students to demonstrate their comprehension, think critically, and analyze sources. It is the 5th of a 6-part series on ancient Greece:
